Ogarkov Readings 2023

On October 31, 2023, Moscow hosted the sixth annual Ogarkov Readings conference in honor of Marshal Nikolai Vasilyevich Ogarkov, a renowned Russian military strategist of the latter half of the 20th century and former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR (1977–1984). The event was organised by the Centre for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST).

The conference featured presentations by esteemed experts such as historian Alexey Krivopalov; Tigran Hovhannisyan, Director of the Independent Center for Defense Studies (Yerevan); Dmitry Stefanovich, researcher at the Center for International Security of IMEMO;  Sergey Denisentsev, consultant of CAST; and Alexei Raksha, a demographer and independent expert.
